Allen Alvin Young

Passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the age of 75 years, Allen Alvin Young, of Somerset, MB, formerly of Ninette, MB & Holland, MB.

Allen leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 54 years Adele (nee Bibault), sons Dwight (Shelly) of Holland, MB, Richard of Snow Lake, MB, Paul (Charlene) of Grunthal, MB and by his six grandchildren Ryan, James, Kyle, Edward, Benjamin & Eloise.

He is also survived by his sisters Adeline (Bob) Good of Kenton, MB and Lorraine (David) Livingstone of Cartwright, MB, sister-in-law Bonnie Young of Cartwright, MB, brothers-in-law Hank Bibault, of Winnipeg, MB, Alphonse (Tracey) Bibault of Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB, sister-in-law Gisele Deleurme of Somerset, MB as well as numerous nieces, nephews & extended relatives & friends.

Allen was predeceased by his son Melvin, parents Edward & Hilda Young, and by brother Edwin Young.

A Celebration of Allen's life will be held on Saturday May 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, MB with Sandra Rex officiating.  Interment will take place later in the day at the Mather Cemetery.  Memorial donations can be made in Al’s memory to The Healthy Lake Committee, or to Terry Fox Memorial Park - Ninette, MB, Committee of the R.M. of Prairie Lakes, mailing address, 637-10th St. Brandon, MB R7A 4G6.
