Celebration Of Life ~ Alma Wallis

Passed away at the Tri-Lake Health Centre, Killarney, MB, on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the age of 91 years, Alma Marie Wallis (nee Wells) of Wawanesa, MB.

Alma leaves to mourn her passing her children Dennis (Brenda) Mitchell of Killarney, MB, Lorraine (Laurie) Rutherford of Wawanesa, MB, Candace (Tom) Lockhart of Wawanesa, MB, Mike (Susan) Wallis of Brandon, MB, Dale Wallis of Saskatoon, SK, Kevin Wallis (Monica Gullett) of Onanole, MB, Marnie Wallis (Ryan Heinrichs) of Pleasant Valley, MB, Corey Wallis of Bowen Island, BC, Laurie (Kevin) Newton of Glenboro, MB and son-in-law Roy Van Damme of Fort St. John, BC.

Alma is also survived by her 24 grandchildren Kelly, Brad, Laura, Robyn, Nolan, Barret, Megan, Mitchell, Reese, Ashley, Marisa, Cali, Aiden, Brayden, Hailey, Ethan, Elizabeth, Michael, Max, Maia, Rain, Paige, Sydney and Mackenzie; 17 great grandchildren, Ryley, Callen, Kenley, Dawson, Tucker, Leah, Ivy, Terrick, Lowe, Monet, Sienna, Liv, Theran, Mav, Andi, Mara & Goldie as well as numerous extended relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her first husband Bud Mitchell and second husband George Wallis, son Boyd Mitchell, daughter Myrna Van Damme, grandchildren Kayla Wallis and Kimberley Wallis, parents Gordon & Gladys Wells, sister Helen Tillotson, and brothers Scotty & Gordon Wells.

A Celebration of Alma’s life will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Wawanesa United Church with Shirley McBurney officiating.  A private family interment will follow in the Wawanesa Cemetery.  Following the service, a reception will be held in the Wawanesa Community Hall.  Everyone is welcome.
