Bettie Doris Lavone (Goranson) Wilson

Passed away peacefully on Saturday October 14, 2017 at the Tiger Hills Personal Care Home, Bettie Doris Lavone Wilson (nee Goranson), formerly of Rathwell MB. Doris leaves to mourn her passing daughter Valerie (Larry) Walker of Holland, daughter-in-law Lorette Wilson of Rathwell, grandchildren Holly Walker, Travis Walker (Kendra), Tracy Tyschinski (Kevin), Heather Wilson (Benson) and two great grandchildren Kyra & Jackson. Also left to mourn her passing one brother Donald Goranson, sisters-in-law Mayvis Goranson & Mary Goranson all of Weyburn Sask., as well as numerous extended relatives & friends. Doris was predeceased by her husband Jack, son Randy, sisters Miriam & Beatrice and by brothers Carl, Douglas & Evan. A Celebration of Doris' life will be held on Friday October 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Rathwell Memorial Hall with Heather Grobb officiating. A family interment will take place in the Woodlands Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Doris' memory to the Green Prairie Lodge, Box 158, Rathwell MB R0G 1S0 or to a charity of one's choice. Even though we will miss her every day, we are thankful that her struggle has ended.
