Celebration of Life ~ Blanche Carpenter

Passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the age of 83 years, Blanche Ena Carpenter (nee Lodge), of Glenboro, MB.

Blanche leaves to mourn her passing her two sons Kelly Carpenter of Athabasca, AB and Casey (Tanya) Carpenter of Brandon, MB and by two grandchildren Christine Shumay & Conrad Carpenter.

She is also survived by her siblings Gwen (Ray) Fiddler, Linda Chambers, Cynric (Dianne) Lodge all of Belmont, MB and Bob (Vickie) Lodge of Oliver, BC; brother-in-law John Geergaet of Baldur, MB, as well as numerous extended family & friends.

Blanche was predeceased by her husband Tom (1999), parents Cynric & Eileen Lodge, brother Osie (Verna) Lodge, sister Myrtle Vanderburgh, and brothers-in-law John Chambers, Clair Vanderburgh & George Manning.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 7:30-8:30 pm at the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, MB, if friends & relatives wish to pay their respects.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Willmor Chapel with Tanis Podobni officiating.  Interment will take place in the Glenboro Cemetery.

Following the interment, a reception will be held at the Glenboro Kinsmen Community Hall for a time of refreshments & fellowship, & music provided by the Fugitives.
