Bryon Aubrey Cline, aged 79 years, of Brandon, MB & formerly of Belmont, MB, passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
Bryon, the eldest son of Aubrey and Ina Cline, was born July 22, 1943. He was raised on the farm in Belmont and received all his education from Belmont School. After finishing school, he got a job at the Belmont Creamery where he worked for 2.5 years, then worked for a summer on a U.G.G Construction crew, working throughout Saskatchewan.
In the summer of 1965, with the help of his father he purchased the David Maxwell Farm. That fall he began his full time operation of mixed farming. In July 1969 he married Sandra McLennan, who joined him on the family farm. For a few years he raised pigs but later chose to raise cattle. The year 1974 was a busy one, they welcomed their first daughter Kami and expanded their farming operation by purchasing additional land from J.W. Goodbrand. This enabled him to pasture more cattle so his herd was expanded. In 1977 they welcomed their second daughter Aynsley.
Bryon continued to farm for many years until he sold off the cattle operation in 2010. He continued to grain farm until 2018 at which time he retired. In the following year Bryon and Sandra moved to Brandon, MB.
In Bryon’s spare time he enjoyed curling, music, playing the fiddle in the family band, and spending time with his family. Throughout the course of Bryon’s years, he enjoyed sharing his love of farming with his nephews. When he became Papa, he enjoyed sharing many adventures with his grandchildren.
Bryon leaves to mourn his passing; his loving wife Sandra (nee McLennan) of 53 years, daughters Kami Cline (Shon Gamache) of Bonnyville, AB, Aynsley Cline (John Torr) of Brandon, MB; six grandchildren Taylor & Kyra Bailey, Jax Gamache, Tristan Cline and Jonaya & Cayson Torr.
He is also survived by his brother Merle (Heather) Cline of Belmont, MB, sister Irma Flett of Norway House, MB as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives & friends.
Bryon was predeceased by his parents Aubrey & Ina Cline, sister Betty Cline and brothers-in-law Roger Flett & Ed Dengler.
