Carol Janet (Nash) Lenathen

With great love and deep sadness, the family of Carol Janet Lenathen announces her passing on February 18, 2026, at the age of 82. Born December 25th in Gagetown, New Brunswick, she lived a fun and full life, including time spent in Germany and Toronto, before settling in Wawanesa, Manitoba. Carol was known for many things; her cooking, her art, and her creativity. But above all, she excelled in humor, warmth, and an endless capacity for love.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Heather Drinkwater (Darcy) and her son David Lenathen (Corina). Her legacy of wit and warmth continues through her grandchildren: Shawn, Katie, Robbie, Mark, Jason & David, and her love is felt deeply by her many great‑grandchildren: Danial, Winter & Rowan, Isana & Amara, Ethan, Travin, Kylee, and David

Carol is predeceased by her beloved husband, David Lenathen, whom she missed dearly.

Her family will forever cherish her strength, humor, and unwavering love, traits that shaped their lives and will continue guiding them forward. Though Carol has passed on, the recipes she perfected, the stories she told, the art she created, and the laughter she shared will lovingly echo at every family gathering.

She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
