Charles Haslen Obituary

Passed away at the Glenboro Personal Care Home on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the age of 81 years, Charles Taylor “Chuck” Haslen, of Glenboro, MB.

Chuck leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Marion (nee Wells), sons Brian (Laura) of Glenboro, MB and Todd (Donna) of Baldur, MB, daughter Christine (Greg) Judd of Binscarth, MB; eight grandchildren Tyler (Sophia) Haslen, Braden (Kayden) Haslen, Kody (Sydney) Judd, Stephanie (Logan) Judd, Dustin Judd, Lateeshia (Mathew) Perry, Aundre Thompson, and Mackenzie Haslen; seven great grandchildren Fallon Perry, Everley Perry, Sawyer Judd, Harper Judd, Olivia Judd, Sebastian Haslen and Chloe Haslen; stepchildren Austin (Rachel) Mustard & Graham (Ashley) Mustard and by great grandchild Ethan Mustard.

He is also survived by his sisters Orma Porter & Norma Bartley, both of Brandon, MB, Brenda Wood of Victoria BC as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Chuck was predeceased by his parents Chuck & Mabel Haslen, brother Stu Haslen and by sisters Shirley Burstall and Mae Davidson.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Glenboro Cemetery with Sharon Hamilton officiating.  Friends that so wish, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st St. Brandon, MB, R7A 2W8 or to the Glenboro & Area Foundation, Box 147, Glenboro, MB, R0K 0X0 or to the Glenboro Palliative Care Unit, Box 310, Glenboro, MB, R0K 0X0.
