With sadness we announce that Diane Turk passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the age of 76 years.
Diane leaves behind her daughters Lori Turk of Belmont, MB and Monica Vander Kloet of Sudbury, ON. She also leaves behind a few close, dear friends and family members along with, hopefully, plenty of laughs and memories.
Diane was predeceased by her husband Edward ‘Ted’ Turk, parents John Burton Phillips and Mary Marciak and brother Randy Rogers.
Diane was born in Sarnia, ON, and moved to Manitoba in 2014. Diane’s love of animals ran deep in her blood. Evident in nursing an injured animal to taking in an animal that showed up at the farm and needed a home. Her main love was horses, and with her husband Ted’s help, she got to realize her dream. A love that lasted the rest of her life. After the loss of her husband, she showed those close to her what being strong and brave was by fighting for what was right.
Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Memorial donations can be made in Diane’s memory to the Glenboro Cat Rescue, (payable to the R.M. of Glenboro-South Cypress), Box 219, Glenboro, MB, R0K 0X0. or to P.A.W.R.
