Donald Smart Obituary
Passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, Winnipeg MB, on Thursday December 13, 2018 at the age of 66 years, Donald Lindsay Smart, of Altamont MB.
Don leaves to mourn his passing sons Brad Smart of Winkler MB & Trevor (Laura) Smart of Treherne, daughter-in-law Janine Smart of Miami MB, five grandchildren Dylan, Kristin, Kadyn, Owen & Evan; brothers Scott (Nancy) Smart of Treherne, Keith (Dona) Smart of Holland, sisters-in-law, Marion Smart of Edmonton, Marilyn (Gary) Vigar of Holland & Joanne (Ron) Jamault of Rathwell as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Don was predeceased by his wife Claire (nee Litton) (Nov. 2016), son Gary (Oct. 2016, parents Bob & Margaret Smart, brother Harry Smart, and by father & mother-in-law Jack & Joyce Litton.
A Celebration of Don's life will be held on Tuesday December 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Rathwell Community Hall with Rev. Alison Halstead officiating.
A private family interment will take place in the Woodlands Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Don's memory to the Autism Society of Manitoba, 825 Sherbrook St. Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M5.
