Funeral Service ~ Doris Thompson

Doris passed away peacefully at the Tiger Hills Health Centre in Treherne, MB, on Monday July 24, 2023, at the age of 99 years.

Doris leaves to mourn her loving children Edward (Elaine) Thompson, Doug (Dixie) Thompson, Linda (Jerry) De Vlieger, Bonnie (Alvin) De Pauw and Valerie (Jim) Berschied;  grandchildren Kevin (Angela), Darrell (Tammy), Dale (Candice), Brad (Vicky), Lisa (Mike), Laura (Christophe), Tracy, Heather (Lyndon), Perry (Tara), Scott, Lyle (Vicki), Crystal (Kevin), Karla (James), Mark (Pam), Amber (Matt), Kimberley, Christopher, Vicki, Travis (Brenda) and Tracey (Mike);  great grandchildren Nicholas, Mikayla, Tobias, Taylor, Carly, Gisele, Liam, Drew, Colby, Pria, Ellie, P.J., Taylor, Wyatt, Hayden, Blake, Emily (BJ), Bryden, Kylie, James, Saphiya, Brittyn, Kaycelyn, Lexi, Daxton, Logan, Paisley, Alyssa, Jayden, Blake, Conor, Levi, Olivia, Logan, Cole, Hudson, Lily, Violet and Corbyn.

Her memory will also be cherished by her sisters Ethel Triggs and Rose Gudnason, sisters-in-law Valma Lee & Lillian Williamson as well as numerous nieces, nephews & extended family.

Doris was predeceased by her loving husband Bill Thompson (2001), parents Charles & Lottie Lee, brothers Victor Warren and Edward Lee, and sisters Mabel Lee and Marie Heatley.

Funeral service will be held in the Holland United Church on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Heather Grobb officiating.  Interment will take place in the Brookdale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holland & Area Community Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
