Dorothy Mawby Obituary
Passed away at the Tiger Hills Health Centre on Monday January 21, 2019 at the age of 92 years, Dorothy Ellen "Dot" Mawby (nee Turnbull), of Treherne MB.
Dot was predeceased by her husband Jim Mawby, grandson Gregory Miller, parents Harry & Laurel Turnbull, brothers Gordon, Stan, Wes & Robert, brother-in-law Hughie Delf and by sister-in-law Marina Turnbull.
She leaves to mourn her passing her five children Gordon (Frances) Mawby of Winnipeg, Maureen (Bernie) Miller of Brandon, Barb (Morris) Drummond of Holland, Don (Brenda Park) Mawby of Treherne, Lois Mawby (Mark Waddington) of Winnipeg, seven grandchildren & seventeen great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister Alice Delf of Rathwell, brothers Harold (Susie) Turnbull of Rathwell & Bill Turnbull of Winnipeg, sister-in-law Marie Turnbull of Reston MB as well as numerous extended relatives & friends.
A Celebration of Dot's life will be held on Saturday February 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Treherne United Church with Heather Grobb officiating. A family interment will take place in the Woodlands Cemetery.
Friends that so desire, memorial donations may be made in Dot's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 1379 Kenaston Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5 or to a charity of choice.
