Phyllis Adams was born in Holland, MB in 1941. After the war, the family moved to Russell and to Neepawa, before leaving Canada for Kent, England in 1951.
Phyllis received a B.A. (Hons.) Degree from Keele University, and taught at Shrewsbury Technical College before returning to Canada in 1966.
She taught for many years in Winnipeg, having received a B.Ed. Degree from the University of Manitoba. However, she preferred the countryside, and made the most of her years in rural Woodlands, MB, where she roamed the woods and ditches taking photographs of wild flowers.
In 2007 she returned to Holland, MB, with her companion Sheltie, and established her home on Patrick St.
Phyllis was predeceased by her mother Helen (nee Vines of Brandon, MB) and her father Rev. G.H. Adams. She is survived by her daughter Marcheta and grandsons Kai, Kenau and Kale.
A Private Burial will take place at the Brookdale Cemetery, Holland, MB. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice.
