Douglas Grant Wall

Passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at the age of 68 years, Douglas Grant Wall, of Glenboro, MB.

Doug, a long-time resident of Glenboro, was the son of John and Verna Wall (nee Chapman), both former residents of Glenboro.  It was here that Doug’s parents met and married in 1952.

Doug was born in Altona, MB and during his lifetime lived in several locations in the province.  He lived in Gretna, MB, and Glenboro, before moving with the rest of his family to the Stoney Beach area (near Regina, SK), then to Outlook, SK, and in the late 1980's returning back to Glenboro.  He received his elementary and middle school education in Gretna and Glenboro and later on earned his GED.

Doug was predeceased by his parents John and Verna in 1987 and 1991 respectively and by his younger brother Charles in April 2020.  He is fondly remembered by friends and neighbours.  Left to mourn his passing is his brother John Wall of Altona, MB.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Glenboro Cemetery on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 11:00 am.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Doug's memory to a charity of choice.
