Elizabeth Annie (Joy) Willie

PLEASE NOTE:   Due to the inclement weather, the Graveside Service for the late Elizabeth Willie has a location change to the Willmor Chapel, 415 Broadway St, Glenboro, MB.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Elizabeth Annie Willie (nee Joy) of Glenboro, MB, formerly of  Brockville, ON, passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the age of 85 years.

Elizabeth leaves to mourn her passing sons Daniel (Shelley) of Prescott, ON, Anthony of Taber, AB, and Terrance (Lisa) of Thunder Bay, ON, daughters Deborah (Wayne) Service of Toledo, ON and Jill (David) Kelley of Glenboro, MB, as well as 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by in-laws Jerome (Sylvia) Willie of Thunder Bay, ON, brother-in-law Clarence Gardiner of Brockville, ON as well as numerous nieces & nephews.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband John Willie (2015) granddaughter, Sadie Kelley, parents William & Sarah Joy and by brother Thomas Joy.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Glenboro Cemetery on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 2:00 pm.   Everyone is welcome to attend.

Memorial donations may be made in Elizabeth’s memory to The Glenboro Cat Rescue Centre, c/o Myrtle Nichols, Glenboro, MB, R0K 0X0.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Brockville Ontario at a later date.
