Elmer Frank Hellegards of Holland MB, passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre on Sunday May 19, 2019 at the age of 84 years.
Elmer leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Rita (nee Hilhorst), sons Larry Hellegards (Cindy Manastyr) of Holland, Brian (Dorrie) Hellegards, their children and loving grandchildren Tasya and Justis of Howden MB and by his sister Irene Uskoski of Winnipeg.
He is also survived by his in-laws Denis Hilhorst of Fort Nelson B.C., Josie Hird of Holland MB, Michael (Joanne) Hilhorst of Fort Nelson B.C., Pat (Ken) Van De Kerckhove of Swan Lake MB as well as extended family & friends. Elmer was predeceased by his parents Eugene & Jeanne Hellegards, brother-in-law Barry Uskoski as well as father & mother-in-law Bill & Laurette Hilhorst & by brother-in-law Ron Hird.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday May 25, 2019 at 1:00pm in the Holland United Church with Heather Grobb officiating. Interment to follow in the St. John Berchmans Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will be held in the Cypress River Memorial Hall. Everyone is welcome.
