Eric "Nipper" Paul Gudnason

Passed away at his residence on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the age of 74 years, Eric Paul “Nipper” Gudnason, of Baldur, MB.

Nipper leaves to mourn his passing his four children, sons Dori (Lori) of Baldur & Ric (Alana) of Baldur, daughters Crystal (Brad) of Glenboro, MB, and Amber (Leroy) of Calgary, AB as well as numerous grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sister Carol Dowd of Glenboro, MB along with numerous relatives and friends.

Eric was predeceased by his wife Ellen (nee Grey) in 2011, parents Haldor (Dori) & Christine Gudnason, grandparents Hannes & Margaret Anderson and Paul & Gudny Gudnason, mother-in-law Essie Grey, stepfather J.C. (Clemmie) Skardal and by brother-in-law Harvey Dowd. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 1:30pm at the Grund Cemetery with Sharon Hamilton officiating.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Reception to follow at the Baldur Memorial Hall.
