Celebration of Life ~ Al Greer
Passed away at the Glenboro Personal Care Home on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the age of 96 years, Ernest Allan Greer, of Glenboro, MB.
Allan leaves to mourn his passing his three children, Cathy Vrooman (Kevin) of Belmont, MB, Cheryl Halliday (David) of Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia, Ken Greer (Valerie) of Philadelphia, PA; seven grandchildren Holly (Kyle), Kelly (Brittany), Carleigh (Chris), Daryn, Jenna (Josh), Matthew (Grace), Eric (Maddie); nine great grandchildren Kallan, Karter, Hyden, Emara, Vera, Hamish, William, Orlando & Lenny; sister Merle Johnson of Saskatoon, SK, good friends & neighbours Alexis Einarson and Gerald (Georgina†) Greenlay as well extended relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Myrna (nee McConnell) and parents Mervyn & Vera Greer.
A Celebration of Al’s life will be held in the Willmor Chapel on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 11:00 am with Sharon Hamilton officiating. A family interment will take place in the Glenboro Cemetery. Following the service, a reception will be held in the C.E. Building. Everyone is welcome. Webcast of the service will be available to view on line in the afternoon on our website at www.willmorchapel.com.
