Karolina "Carrie" (Kanski) Irving

Passed away at the Glenboro Personal Care Home on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at the age of 94 years, Karolina "Carrie" Irving (nee Kanski), formerly of Winnipeg Beach MB. Born September 2, 1923 in Foley MB, she married Edward Irving in Winnipeg Beach MB. Carrie leaves to mourn her passing her daughters Carol (Wayne) Fulford of Glenboro, Patricia (Alvis) Zelezen of Winnipeg, Marion Lapointe of Winnipeg, seven grandchildren Kelly (Alica), Eric (Megan), Jeremy (Christine), Diane (Darcy), Jenny, Shawna, Karrie (Vic); 18 great grandchildren Noah, Ethan Leila, Teiler, Azia, Devon, Justin, Taytam, Erika, Noah, Matthew, Easten, Joshua, Nolan & Jason. She is also survived by a sister Nellie Willaby, brothers Bill Kanski, Peter Kanski & Mike Kanski as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Carrie was predeceased by her husband Edward Irving, sisters Mary Kanski, Pauline Olsen, Helen Slater and by son-in-law Ron Lapointe. A Celebration of Life Carrie's life will be held at the Winnipeg Beach Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Winnipeg Beach MB, on Saturday May 19, 2018 at 11:00 am, with Chaplain Beth McLean officiating. Interment will take place in the Winnipeg Beach Cemetery. Following the service, a reception will be held back at the Legion Hall.
