Kay Hurst Obituary
Peacefully on Saturday April 6, 2019 at the Tiger Hills Personal Care Home with family by her side, Myrtle Kathleen "Kay" Hurst (nee Lounsbury) of Treherne MB, passed away at the age of 98 years.
Kay leaves to mourn her passing her children Kelvin (Alice) Hurst of Winnipeg, Keith Hurst of Holland, Joanne (Michael) Hilhorst of Fort Nelson B.C., Krista Furey (beloved partner of the late Carter Hurst), six grandchildren Darrell, Randy, Clayton, Trent, Wesley, Carlynn, five great grandchildren, sister-in-law Raebelle Lounsbury of Treherne as well as numerous extended relatives.
Kay was predeceased by her husband Wes Hurst (1992), son Carter (2013), parents Oscar & Myrtle Lounsbury, daughter-in-law Florette Hurst (2014), sisters Vera (Oliver) Dash, Mabel (George) McGill, Mildred (Jack) Campbell & Velda Lounsbury, brothers Elmer, Orval (Megan) and Allan Lounsbury and by long time friend & companion Clarence Stanton (2014).
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Bethel Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made in Kay's memory to the Tiger Hills Health Centre, Palliative Care Designation, Box 130, Treherne MB R0G 2V0.
