Ken Pearson was born on October 28, 1949, to Harry and Alma Pearson of Teulon, Manitoba. Ken married his wife of 53 years, Helen, and moved to Winnipeg where they attended university. After several moves, they settled in Cypress River where he began his trucking career. Ken founded his company, Pearson Transport, and together with his family they expanded to BC where he eventually retired to Mara Lake.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed classic cars, motorcycles, as well as sledding and quadding in the mountains. He took great pride in maintaining his home and yard.
Ken will be forever loved and missed by his wife Helen, children Chris (Erika) Pearson, Andrea (Neil) Searles, Erin (Colin) Nathaniel, and grandchildren Jayme, Dustin, Harry and Ray. Ken will also be missed by his siblings; Elizabeth (Bill), Leslie, Kurt (Connie) as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Ken made his dreams a reality, and after a great day of doing what he loved with his family, he would say ‘Can’t take that one back’.
A Celebration of his Life will be planned summer of 2023 in Balmoral, Manitoba.
