Laurette Hilhorst Obituary
Laurette Simonne Adrienne Marie Hilhorst (nee Doyon) formerly of Holland MB, passed away at the Tiger Hills Manor in Treherne MB on Monday May 13, 2019 at the age of 100 years.
Laurette leaves to mourn her passing her five children Rita (Elmer) Hellegards of Holland MB, Denis Hilhorst of Fort Nelson B.C., Josie Hird of Holland MB, Michael (Joanne) Hilhorst of Fort Nelson B.C., Pat (Ken) Van De Kerckhove of Swan Lake MB; eight grandchildren Larry Hellegards (Cindy Manastyr), Brian (Dorrie) Hellegards, Darcy Hird (Pauline Olynik), Sherry Hird (Trig Arason), Clayton Hilhorst, Trent (Heather) Hilhorst, Erin Van De Kerckhove (Eric Clark), Andrew (Brigitte) Van De Kerckhove; 12 great grandchildren Braylee, Joshua, Brenna, Eric, Tasya, Justis, Claire, Travis, Elena, Dominic, Liam and Travis as well as numerous extended relatives.
Laurette was predeceased by her husband Bill (2000), son-in-law Ron Hird (2010), parents Josephat & Lucie Doyon (nee Lombart), her extended family Yvonne (George) Godard Dhont, Cecile (Albert) DePape, Adrien (Greta) Doyon; father & mother-in-law Johannes (John) (Johanna) Hilhorst, brothers & sisters-in-law Joe (Madeline) Hilhorst, Bert (Emily) Hilhorst, Sister Aloysuis (Cornelia), John Hilhorst, Tony Hilhorst & Mary (Peter) Nass.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday May 18, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, Holland, with Father Jose Montepeque officiating.
Prayers & Eulogy will commence at 12:15 prior to the service. Interment will take place in the St. John Berchmans Parish Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations may be made in Laurette's memory to the Tiger Hills Palliative Care, Box 130, Treherne MB R0G 2V0.
