Lionel Bardarson Obituary

Lionel Jesse Bardarson, of Baldur, MB passed away at the Tri-Lake Health Centre in Killarney, MB on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the age of 60 years,

Lionel leaves to mourn his passing his children Rochelle Bardarson (Matiao), Leighann Bardarson, Dustin Bardarson (Yuli) and Ryan Bardarson (Emily) and their mother Colleen Smyk, grandchildren Kylie, Connor and Carleigh Brethour, son -in-law Jason Brethour, and sisters Melanie (Robert) McKenzie, Nancy (Corey) Dalman and Tiffany Nykolyshyn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Lionel was predeceased by his parents Albert & Judy (nee Cruickshanks) Bardarson, Auntie Loreen Bardarson, Sister Vicky Vrooman, niece Tasha, mother-in-law Marlene Smyk and brother-in-law Kevin Smyk.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the Willmor Chapel with Sharon Hamilton officiating.

Memorial donations may be made in Lionel’s memory to the Manitoba Lung Association, 204-825 Sherbrook St. Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1M5.
