Lorne Edwin Gutscher

Passed away at the Prairie View Lodge, Pilot Mound, MB, on Saturday August 5, 2023 at the age of 86 years, Lorne Edwin Gutscher, of Swan Lake, MB.

Lorne leaves to mourn his passing son Brian (Michelle) Gutscher of Winnipeg, MB, grandchildren Victoria, Austin & Harrison, brother Wayne (Adeline) Gutscher of Killarney, MB, in-laws Doris Lauritsen of Redvers, SK, Laust (Rosemarie) Lauritsen of Redvers, SK, and by nieces & nephews Charlene (Jeff) Unrau of Winnipeg, MB, Erica (Cory) Hilhorst of Killarney, MB, Karen (Ken) Greer of Saskatoon, SK, Kevin Lauritsen (Wendy Kimber) of Oxbow, SK, Kristie (Shawn) Madsen of Estevan, SK, as well as extended relatives & friends.

Lorne was predeceased by his wife Greta (nee Lauritsen), parents Roy & Hilda (nee Van Den Bussche) Gutscher, brother Norman Gutscher, brotherlike cousin Melvin (Charlotte) Gutscher, sister like cousin Dorothy Van Achte, and by in-laws Bent Lauritsen and Ruth (Howard) Hope.

Funeral service will take place in the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake, MB at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2023 with Rev. Melanie Kauppila officiating.  Visitation at the church prior to service from 1:00 – 1:45 pm.  Burial to follow in the Swan Lake United Church Cemetery.

Following the interment, a reception will be held in Swan Lake Community Centre.  Everyone is invited.
