Madeleine (Mauws) Foidart Lanouette

ith sadness we announce the passing of Madeleine Lanouette (nee Mauws) at Golden Links Lodge on Sunday July 10, 2022 at the age of 93 years.

Madeleine was born & lived in Swan Lake, MB, for many years prior to moving to Winnipeg in 2015. She was predeceased by her husband Andre Foidart in 1967 and by her second husband Adrien Lanouette in 1988.

She is lovingly remembered by her children Joan (Norbert†), Lorna (Barry), Rita (Gerry), Robert (Barb) and Marion (Scott†), stepsons Leo (Ann) and Mike (Danielle) and by her much-loved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchild.

Madeleine was predeceased by husband Andre Foidart (1967), second husband Adrien Lanouette (1988), parents Alphonse Mauws and Marie Brackeveldt, brothers Leo, Charlie and Gerry and by her sisters Zoe Cleutinx Claeys, Annie (Sisters of the Saviour),Lisa Mauws, Martha Foidart and Margaret Hutlet.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday August 6, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake, MB, with Father John Te Nguyen as Celebrant.  Eulogy & video tribute at 10:45 am prior to Mass.  A Private family interment will follow in the St. Martin of Tours Parish Cemetery.  Following the interment, a reception will be held in the Swan Lake Recreation Centre.  Everyone is welcome.

As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Lorne Memorial Hospital, Box 40, Swan Lake, MB, R0G 2S0 or to a charity of choice.
