Margaret Louise (Desrochers) Sigvaldason

Passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday April 29, 2026, at the age of 70 years, Margaret Louise Sigvaldason (nee Desrochers), of Baldur, MB.

Margaret leaves to mourn her son Troy & daughter-in-law Lindsey of Baldur, MB and grandson Parker; sister Lucile DeBaets of Baldur, sister-in-law Bonnie Desrochers of Baldur, brother & sister-in-law Brian & Nicki Sigvaldason of Calgary, AB, as well as numerous extended relatives & friends.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Bob Sigvaldason, common-law partner Jim DeSmet, parents Honore & Marguerite Desrochers, brothers Roger (Lynda) & Ernest, sister Fleurette (Marcel) Geirnaert and by brother-in-law Murray DeBaets.

A Graveside Service will be held at Grund Cemetery on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm with friend Doug Beauchamp officiating.

A reception and gathering will follow at Margaret’s residence, Loki Farms.  BYOB & Lawn Chairs.
