Passed away at the Tri Lake Health Centre, Killarney, MB, on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the age of 90 years, Margaret Rose “Peggy” Vrooman (nee Hamilton) of Belmont, MB.
Peggy leaves to mourn her four daughters, Patti (Robert) Wanless of Belmont, Brenda (Maurice) Hutlet of Brandon, MB, Cathy (Brian) Hetherington of Belmont, Shelley (David) Vertz of Glenboro, MB, sons Kevin (Cathy) Vrooman of Belmont, Dean Vrooman of Belmont, son-in-law Bill Myers of Brandon, MB and by seventeen grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sisters Betty Young of Pilot Mound, MB and Elaine Vrooman of Belmont, as well as numerous extended family & friends.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband Clare (2001), daughter Terry Myers (2015), daughter-in-law Janice Vrooman (2009), sister Joan Cline (2024) and by her father Terrick Hamilton (2003) and mother Muriel (nee McLeod) (1997).
A Private Family Graveside service will be held at the Hillside Cemetery on Friday, March 27, 2026 with Sharon Hamilton officiating.
