Our family is sad to announce the passing of our Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma — Merle Margaret Nesbitt (nee Latimer). Mom passed quietly in her own home and on her own terms Monday, November 22, 2021 with her family at her side. She passed 2 days short of her 98th Birthday — a good long life that was well lived.

Mom leaves to mourn her passing — son Douglas (Diane), son Glenn (Sharon) and daughter Audrey (Hubert†) Hutlet. She had 6 Granddaughters — Audra (Dale) Hume, Melissa Nesbitt, Nicky (Trevor) Vigar, Jaimie (Darryl Berard) Hutlet, Lindsay (Peck) Frizzley and Holly (John) Mahon.

The even more special little people were her 13 great grandkids — Alexander and Grace Hume, Ty and Raina Vigar, Chase and Kalence Berard, Cooper, Hunter and Jax Frizzley and Kolton, Macy, Linden and Reese Mahon.

There is quite a large extended family of relatives and so many kept in touch and visited Aunt Merle. She had lots of good friends and neighbours that will miss her too.

The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Treherne United Church. Proof of vaccination is required to attend the service.

A private internment will have been held prior to service at Woodlands Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tiger Hills Community Foundation, PO Box 342, Treherne, MB, R0G 2V0 or to a charity of your choice.
