Michael Kent Smith

Passed away suddenly at his farm residence on Sunday July 2, 2023 at the age of 61 years, Michael Kent Smith, of Ninette, MB.

Michael leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Janice (nee Clisby), five sons Derek of Belmont, Charlie (Andrea) of Dunrea, Adam of Ninette, Kevin (Tara) of Ninette & James of Ninette and six grandchildren Hunter, Kyle, Tyler, Amora, Alexander & Lilith.

He is also survived by his father Nelson Smith of Wawanesa, siblings Philip Smith of Ninette, Charles (Carrie) Smith of Ninette, Judi (Steve) Hattersley of Minnedosa, & Veronica (Cory) Johnston also of Minnedosa; in-laws Ken (Deb) Clisby of Brandon & Diane O’Halloran of Brandon as well as numerous nieces, nephews & extended family.

Michael was predeceased by his mother Yvonne Smith (nee Campbell), father & mother-in-law Frank & Jean Clisby, brother & sister-in-law Don & Linda Clisby and by brother-in-law Boyd O’Halloran.

A Family Graveside service will be held on Tuesday July 11, 2023 at the Ninette Cemetery. Following the graveside a reception will held at the Ninette Hall commencing at 2:30 pm that is open to all.
