Passed away at Brandon Regional Health Centre, Brandon, MB, on Friday June 9, 2023 at the age of 74 years, Normand Albert Joseph Desrochers, of Baldur, MB.
Normand is survived by his loving wife Edith Desrochers (Bolack), children Coreena & Harley Sutton of Glenora, MB, Clayton Desrochers & Sherry Belhumeur of Baldur, MB, Monica & Perry Grift of Brandon, MB, and Jeffery & Nicole Desrochers of Somerset, MB. His 8 grandchildren Mathew & Tess, Brady & Alexis, and Kyle & Jessica Sutton, Chelsea Desrochers, Josie and Jadyn Grift, Bryce and Colby Desrochers and his 2 great grandchildren Braelynn and May Sutton.
Normand will also be missed by siblings Juliette Vertz, Angelle & Bill Glover, Viola Boulet, Firmin & Sharon Desrochers, and Vicki & Kerry Kohmer as well as siblings in law Lois &Valere DeRuyck, Karl Bolack, Carol & Ron Schneider, Kim Gagnon, Nancy & Jake Penner, Sigrid & Dan De Kezel, and Amelia Bolack.
He was predeceased by his granddaughter Amanda Jean Sutton, parents Etienne & Dora Desrochers, in-laws Harold & Gudfinna Bolack, brothers-in-law Ed Vertz, Murray Boulet and Dennis Gagnon and sister-in-law Delores Bolack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. James Catholic Church, Baldur, MB, on Wednesday June 21, 2023 at 11:00 am with a eulogy prior to the service at 10:45 am. Father Phillip Malayil as Celebrant. Interment will take place at the Baldur Cemetery following the service. Following the interment, a reception will be held in the Baldur Community Hall. Everyone is welcome.
