Rae Graham Obituary
Rae Saunders Graham of Holland MB, passed away peacefully at the MacGregor Health Centre on Wednesday October 3, 2018 at the age of 91 years.
Rae, Dad/Grandpa was born on Oct. 14, 1926 on the farm north of Holland to Eleanor and William (Billy) Graham. He was the sixth child of 11 children. From a young age he worked on the family farm. For a short period, he worked in construction for Manitoba Pool Elevators. On July 16, 1960 he married Lizabel Brims. Together they built their home on the family farm and raised their two daughters, Melody and Myrna. As the years went on the family grew and Rae gained a son-in-law Don and two granddaughters, Natasha and Rebecca, and a second son-in-law Kevin.
He was always on the go. He worked hard on the farm, with both his crops and livestock. He still found time for recreational activities, including horseback riding, quadding, snowmobiling, curling, baseball, hunting, and trapping. From an early age music and playing the fiddle were a big part of his life. He found a lot of enjoyment attending local events, playing cards, and enjoyed visiting with neighbors and friends of all ages. Of course his family meant the world to him and he showed how much we meant to him time and time again. He will forever hold a special place in each of our hearts.
Rae leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Lizabel (nee Brims), daughters Melody (Don) Wilcox of Holland, Myrna (Kevin) Penner of Winnipeg, granddaughters Natasha (Nathan) Mangin & Rebecca Wilcox (Riley); sisters Muriel Welwood of Winnipeg, Betty (Gordie) Whittingham of Delta B.C., Laurel Jones of Delta B.C., brother Murray (Carole) Graham of Camrose AB, sisters-in-law Margaret Graham of Portage la Prairie & Janet (Keith) Lytle of Eatonville, WA as well as numerous extended family & friends.
Rae was predeceased by his parents Billy & Eleanor Graham, sisters & brothers-in-law Olivene (Lloyd) Knibbs, Joy (John) Saunders, Donelda (John) Anderson, Rosebud (Cyril) Chase, brothers Willis Graham & Glen Graham and brothers-in-law Harold Welwood & Roland Jones

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Holland United Church with Heather Grobb officiating. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service.
Interment will take place in the Brookdale Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Rae's memory to the Holland United Church Memorial Fund, Holland MB R0G 0X0 or charity of choice.
