Passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday December 28, 2021, Richard Anson Eisentraut, of Holland, MB. 

Richard leaves to mourn his passing his son Cory (Kate) Eisentraut of London, England, daughter-in-law Shaundra Whiting of Calgary, AB, four grandchildren Claire, Magnus, Griffin & Shae-Lynn; sister Nancy Washington of Alaska, USA, brother-in-law Phil Carlson of Illinois, USA, as well as extended family & friends.

Richard was predeceased by his son Chad in 2017, parents Clifford & Verna Eisentraut, and by a sister Sally Carlson.

Everyone familiar with Richard knew how much he cherished his family, as well as his time spent on Lake of the Woods, and that he was guided by his deep faith.  He had an enormous heart, a quick wit and was a wonderful storyteller. He will be so greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held in the Calvary Baptist Church, Treherne, MB on Monday January 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Walter Bartel officiating.  Interment will take place in the Brookdale Cemetery, Holland, MB.  Covid restrictions will be in place.

Memorial donations can be made in Richard’s memory to the Calvary Baptist Church Memorial Fund, Box 219, Treherne, MB R0G 2V0 or to a charity of choice. 

Friends unable to attend the service are welcome to sign the memorial register by calling the funeral home at 204-526-2380 & we will insert your name.  The service will be webcast & available to view later in the day on Richard’s profile page at www.willmorchapel.com.  Online condolences may also be made by visiting the website.
