Sadie Harp Obituary
Peacefully with her family by her side, at the Tiger Hills Health Centre on Friday April 5, 2019, Sadie Isabelle Harp of Treherne MB passed away at the age of 94 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children Thelma (Ron) Weicker of Holland, Linda (Henry) Major of Treherne, Laurie (Donna) Harp of Brandon; her grandchildren Brad, Teena (Mike), Sean (Jennifer), Craig (Jessie), Greg (Jocelyn), Dallas, Dillon (Kristine); her great grandchildren Hayden, Haley, Jack, Danny, Owen, Andrew, Kayden, Liam, Rylan, Connor, Alex, Landon, Matthew and Easton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mom was predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years, Doug, and her beloved daughter Rhonda. She was also predeceased by her parents Benjamin Rathwell & Gabriella (nee Cameron), her siblings and their spouses Willliam (Elaine) Rathwell, Leonard Rathwell, Bob (Dora) Rathwell, Nellie (Wilfred) Elder, Harmon Rathwell, Clifford (Frances) Rathwell, and Annie May Rathwell; her parents-in-law Fred & Laura (nee Wright) Harp, her siblings-in-law Fred (Eva) Harp, Fraser (Gwen) Harp and Clarence Harp.
A Celebration of Sadie's life will take place on Monday April 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Holland United Church. Interment will take place prior to the service at 1:00 pm at the Bethel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holland United Church Memorial Fund, Box 191, Holland MB R0G 0X0 or to the Tiger Hills Health Centre Palliative Care, Box 130 Treherne MB R0G 2V0 or to a charity of choice.
