Shirley La Roque Obituary

After a courageous battle with cancer, Shirley Irene La Roque (nee Evans) of Holland, MB, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday April 4, 2022 at the Tiger Hills Health Centre, Treherne, MB at the age of 69 years.

Shirley leaves to mourn her loving husband of 50 years Dennis La Roque, son Rick La Roque of Brandon, MB, sisters Margaret (George) Baldwin of Victoria BC, Marion Smart of Edmonton, AB, brothers Bruce (Sharon) Evans of Hartney, MB, Bill (Joyce) Evans of Airdrie, AB, Bob (Patti) Evans of Tisdale, SK, sister-in-law Lynda Gowryluk of Winnipeg, MB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Shirley was predeceased by her father Ashley Evans (2005) & Bernice (nee Howard) (2020), brothers-in-law Harry Smart & Ron Gowryluk and by father & mother-in-law Harold & Eileen La Roque.

A Celebration of Shirley’s life will be held on Monday April 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Holland Community Hall with Rev. Jonathan Hoskin officiating. A family interment will take place in the Brookdale Cemetery.
