Passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre on Sunday February 21, 2021at the age of 60 years, Thoralee Ann Edmondson (nee Frederickson), of Glenboro, MB.
Thoralee leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Jim, daughters Kaleigh Deleurme (Chance Flick) of Minnedosa, MB, Shaelyn (William Affleck) of Sperling, MB, sisters Sharon (Walter) Hilhorst of Killarney, MB, Marilyn (Stan) Ehnes of Vernon, BC, brother Craig (Donna) Frederickson of Winnipeg, MB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & extended friends. Thoralee was predeceased by her father Friday Frederickson in 2014 and by her mother Bernice (nee Johnson) in 2019.
Ten years ago Thoralee was diagnosed with breast cancer and was given 24 months to live after surgery as the cancer had metastasized. She defied the odds & lived for 8 more years in good health. Unfortunately, 2 years ago the cancer had spread more & she went back to battle this disease with chemo treatments. Just shy of 2 years, sadly she lost her battle with cancer. Her courage & her strength against this disease was so inspiring. She will be sadly missed.
Cremation has taken place. Due to the Pandemic, A Celebration of Thoralee’s life will be held for her family on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can made in her memory to Cancer Care Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave. Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9 or to a charity of choice.
