Wayne Graham Obituary

It is with great sadness we must announce the passing of Wayne Carlton Graham on the 7th of March 2025 at the PCH, in Glenboro, Manitoba.

Wayne was a loving husband to Judith (nee Legary), devoted father to children Allan and Mardi, brother to Don, Gerry, and Deloris, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. While he did move the family around a bit in his work between Manitoba Highways, Manitoba Hydro, grocery store owner, and back to Manitoba Highways, he always ensured his family was well supported in everything they wanted to do either at school or in local sports and life in general.

He was an avid fisherman and he and Judy have many master angler certificates to back up the “tall” fishing tales. One of his fondest memories was turning the cabin on Pelican Lake into a 3-bedroom home, with the help of his beloved wife and greatest friend, Judy. His favorite place that he lived was Snow Lake, Manitoba, where he and Judy spent many an hour on the local lakes fishing from a boat, enjoying the peacefulness and beauty. They would spend hours quadding from one lake to another, when they couldn’t travel by boat or truck.

During his time as a store owner in Holland, he was often part of groups that were trying to either enhance a local facility, racetrack for harness racing, or bring in new events to our town. He volunteered to coach minor hockey, and was even “the voice” of the Holland Rockets for home hockey games, up in the little corner booth at the arena.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Edna, his wife Judith and his brother Don.

A Memorial Service for Family & Friends will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Jamieson's Holland Chapel with Sandra Rex officiating.  Following the service, a reception will be held in the Holland Community Hall.

Everyone is Welcome.
