Staff members of Jamieson's Funeral Service Willmor Chapel are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of the utmost importance to our staff.

Funeral Director
Moray is a second generation funeral director, following in his father's footsteps, Bill Jamieson. Moray has been active in funeral service for 33 years, receiving his embalmers licence while employed at Brockie Donovan in Brandon & his funeral directors licence with his father. Moray & his wife Arlie & children Dayna & Turner moved to Kamloops B.C. and was employed with Schoening Funeral Service for a few years, before returning to Glenboro. In 1999, ground was broke for a new funeral home facility and in April 2000 the chapel was dedicated "Willmor Chapel" in memory of Bill. Moray served two terms on the Manitoba Funeral Directors Association & is also a member of the Funeral Service Association of Canada. He has been active on the Glenboro-South Cypress Fire Dept. for 29 years and is extensively involved in numerous community groups & organizations in Glenboro & surrounding communities. His enjoyments are outdoor sports activities, his family & friends and his involvment in his work.
Office Business Manager
Arlie married Moray in December 1982 and has been a very important part of his life & the operation of the funeral home. Arlie was born in Argyle MB, received her education at Argyle & Stonewall & entered into secondary business education in Winnipeg. She was employed with a corporate advertising agency before moving to Glenboro. She retired after 30 years from the Glenboro Health Facility and helps out part time with the Funeral Home administration.
Funeral Director
Dayna was
born and raised in Glenboro and is a 3rd Generation Funeral Director
following in the foot steps of her grandfather Bill Jamieson and father Moray
Jamieson. She obtained her Funeral Director & Embalmer license in 2015 from
the Canadian College of Funeral Service.
Her and her
husband Shaun have three children: Tia, Nash & Rome and keep busy with all
of the kids sports and extracurricular activities.
Director Assistant
Gerry & his wife Yvonne live at Cypress River & Gerry has been a valuable staff member with Jamieson's for over 10 years. Gerry is a retired farmer, but is involved extensively in community affairs and was a counselor in the R.M. of Lorne for 15 years. Gerry enjoys the "art of a good conversation," traveling & spending time with his children & grandchildren.
Director Assistant
Scott grew up on a mixed farm in Rathwell. He attended school in Rathwell and Treherne then went on to the University of Manitoba. He and wife Nancy raised 3 children, Ian, Christa and Derek while living on an acreage outside of Treherne. Scott obtained his teaching degree and taught for 34 years in Austin and Treherne. He enjoys all sports as well as woodcarving and gardening. He has worked for Jamieson's for 19 years.
Director Assistant
Rick grew up on a dairy farm south of Glenboro. He went to Glenboro School. After finishing school he worked for Dome Petroleum for 10 seasons in Tuktoyaktuk. He married Sharon Plowman in 1993 and together they ran a mixed farm west of Glenboro. Rick has sat on the Glenboro Co-op Board, Westoba Credit Union board and he and Sharon hosted a Community Christmas dinner in Glenboro for 14 years. He has recently retired from farming and now enjoys his classic cars.
